Freeing the Heart & Mind
Through Presence and Generosity

A Seven-day Insight Meditation Retreat
Taught by Brian Lesage & Robin Craig

Co-sponsored by Prescott Insight Meditation
and Flagstaff Insight Meditation Community

April 12 - 18, 2026    |    Paulden, Arizona

And what is the accomplishment of generosity?
Here, a noble disciple dwells at home with a mind free from stinginess,
freely generous, open-handed, delighting in relinquishment,
one devoted to charity, delighting in giving and sharing.

– The Buddha

Please Join Our Fundraising Campaign to Support the 2025 Generosity Retreat
Prescott Insight Meditation and Flagstaff Insight Meditation Community invite you to join in a rare opportunity:
A week-long silent retreat supported entirely by dana, the Pali word for generosity.

Our annual Generosity Retreat relies on the gifts of our community. From organizers and teachers to contributors like you, generosity sustains this retreat and promotes kindness and connection.
In giving we learn to let go and foster loving-kindness.
Imagine how those with limited resources could experience what it is like to let go of everyday suffering, deepen their practice in silence, and widen their understanding of the dharma. In the ancient tradition of generosity (dana) we are able to continue offering this retreat to make the dharma available to all, regardless of financial means.

Donations support food, expenses, and our retreat center hosts. Funds are not used for Teacher dana and do not affect your chances of admittance to the retreat.
Please join our fundraising campaign to support this retreat:
PLEASE DONATE

We are deeply grateful for your support!
Your contribution continues a 2,500-year tradition of generosity, allowing the dharma to be shared widely.

When donating by check please write 'Generosity' in the memo field to direct your funds in support of our retreat.
Please make your check payable to:

A week-long retreat fully supported through generosity

This eighth-annual Generosity Retreat will focus on cultivating an embodied quality of presence as a way of bringing a deeper sense of freedom and contentment into our lives. Join us for this opportunity to explore the power of mindfulness through silent sitting and walking meditation, fully immersed in a silent retreat setting for seven days. In silence we have the space to delve deeply inward and learn to skillfully place the intention to be present with the flow of experience, in a way that allows compassion and wisdom to arise.

Insight Meditation
Insight Meditation (vipassana) is the practice of moment-to-moment mindfulness. Through careful and sustained attention to the present moment we experience for ourselves the ever-changing flow of the mind-body process. Having this awareness we gain insight, compassion and true happiness.
